Annet Mahendru
Mahendru was the child of an Russian mother and a Hindu Indian father in Afghanistan. She has a good command of German Russian English. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father, and an Indian father and a Russian mother. At age 11 she created a choreography that earned her a slot on German TV as a graceful Russian snow maiden who transforms into a playful Indian dancer. After high school, she graduated with a bachelor's diploma in English in New York. Following school, she began acting classes in the HB studio but the moved on to study improvisation with The Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu Indian mother and a Russian father, who lived in Kabul in Afghanistan. At the age of 13, her parents split up. Her father moved the family to East Meadow New York. Her most well-known role is the former KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
