Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has made a name for herself on TV. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother, were both born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 the 26th of June, 1976. De La Garza soon moved to Texas, where she studied the field of physical therapy at the University of Texas. De La Garza did not stay in Texas for long and shortly after moved to Orlando Florida, where she took on a number of parts as an actor, such as local independent commercials as well as films. Despite small roles, she soon discovered her love to act. When she moved to New York, in 2001 she landed her first part as a performer on All My Children. Throughout the first decade of 2000, she acted tiny roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. In 2004, she was cast in her debut series role on The Mountain The Mountain, the short-lived drama on television. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role that she is most remembered for was the A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on screen for 85 episodes. Then, she appeared in the Law & Order: LA short-lived sequel. The character of De La Garza received numerous nominations, including Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She was also awarded ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she was awarded the Impact Award at National Hispanic Media Coalition's Outstanding Performance Award for a Dramatic Television Series. De La Garza, in a recurring cast role in CSI Miami was announced a few minutes later. She was Marisol Deko, as well as wife to David Caruso's character Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic drama Do No Harm she played her character of the character Dr. Lena Solis. After only two episodes it was cancelled. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is the younger sibling of Cory who is Italian from a family of Italian origin. She was raised in the strictest and most religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven years old. Babysitters took her along to the first audition. From more than 1,000 candidates they were selected as one of just four. Milano was featured on television in commercials, and off Broadway productions like an adaptation musical to Jane Eyre.
